The Hi Buff Green Foam Glazing Pad is to be used on clear coats, single-stage paint, or gel coats to remove light scratches and light environmental fallout.
This is a great light polishing pad to use when glazing a vehicle that just needs more than just a little attention to sharpen up the color depth and remove light scratches & micro swirls. If the vehicle has been cosmetically maintained but has micro light scratches in the clear coat this could be your pad of choice along with the Pure Finish
or Blue Diamond
to make the paint bling!
Glazing with this pad is a must of after you compound with the black or yellow Hi Buff Pads.
You can also use this pad to polish a vehicle that just needs one step correction and no compounding.
This pad is more aggressive than our Blue Foam Pad but, not as aggressive as our Yellow Foam Pad. With this pad you receive the convenience of the velcro backing for quick changing of pads. Additionally, this pad is to be used with our Makita Variable Speed Buffer, Dewalt, and Flex Rotary Machines.
Our Hi Buff pads have a patented twin-bevel perimeter that lets you maneuver in channels, cutouts and other curved areas. The Edge uses only the highest quality reticulated polyester urethane foam, an exceptionally strong yet flexible material. The Edge outlasts ordinary foam pads and detailers claim they can finish 10-20 cars with a single pad.
DK Tip: To save time and buffing product usage you should use detailers clay after washing and rinsing the car.
The clay will remove pollutants in the clear coat and make your buffing go quicker and smoother. Check out our Wonder Clay Bars
products in our Clay For Detailing Dept.
