Product Details
The Hi-Buff Yellow Foam Pad is to be used on clear coats to remove medium scratches, water spots, and medium to heavy oxidation. After use of this pad, we recommend to follow up with the Green Hi-Buff Pad, while using any of our polishes or glazes.

This pad is one step below the White Foam Pad, but more aggressive than the Green Foam Pad. With this pad you receive the convenience of the velcro backing for quick changing of pads. Additionally, this pad is to be used with our Makita Variable Speed Buffer, Dewalt, Flex, or Milwaukee models.

Our Hi-Buff pads have a patented twin-bevel perimeter that lets you maneuver in channels, cutouts and other curved areas. Hi-Buff uses only the highest quality reticulated polyester urethane foam, an exceptionally strong yet flexible material. Hi-Buff outlasts ordinary foam pads and detailers claim they can finish 10-20 cars with a single pad.

DK Tip: To save time and buffing product usage you should use detailers clay after washing and rinsing the car. The clay will remove pollutants in the clear coat and make your buffing go quicker and smoother. Check out our Wonder Clay Bars or Nanoskin products in our Clay For Detailing Dept.

What Products To Use?

To get the maximum use out of your Hi-Buff Yellow Pad, use in conjunction with Detail King compounds such as, Diamond Cut, Vibra Cut II, Vibra Cut Lite, or Buff 'N Bling. Remember, anytime you compound you must follow up with glazing or polishing. After you compound with these pads, you would glaze with the Hi-Buff Green Pads using the Foam Pad Glaze II or a similar product.
