With your Porter Cable, Flex or Rupes orbital polisher you can now easily remove paint overspray, tree sap, industrial fallout, pollutants and other embedded contaminants from automotive paint, glass, moldings and plastic.
This procedure is an important step in preparing for the paint correction and polishing stage. Removing this invisible fallout will actually save you buffing and polishing labor time and extend the life of your foam pads.
In the past, professional detailers used clay bars and completed the work by hand.
Clay bars are effective, but they eventually become overloaded with contaminants and must be discarded. Unlike the clay bar, the Detail King Nanoskin Autoscrub Pads can be cleaned by simply rinsing off the accumulated contaminants with water. If dropped on the ground, simply rinse clean the patented rubber polymer side of the Autoscrub pad, and you are ready to continue using it.
We also include one quart of Wonder Lube clay lubricant.
Wonder Lube is a water based clay lubricant that should be used in conjunction with our detailing Clay Wonder Bars and Nanoskin Autoscrub products. Wonder Lube should be used when "claying" a vehicle to remove paint overspray. Many professional auto detailers now "clay" the vehicle surface after washing it prior to detailing it. Using Wonder Lube when claying a vehicle will prolong the life of your Nanoskin AutoScrub Pad. This product has a great juicy fruit scent, is 100% biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
This kit includes one Nanoskin Autoscrub Pad that will work with the Porter Cable and Flex orbital polishers and one quart of Detail King Wonder Lube clay lubricant.
